Melanie has been a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2014 with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario (CMTO). Graduating the same year from Bryan College with an Honors Certificate in Massage Therapy. She started Oakridge Massage and Wellness when she moved to Bruce County in 2019 and discovered there was a need for in home/ mobile therapists.

She will work with you to develop a safe and effective individualized treatment plan. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, an acute injury, managing stress, maintaining an overall sense of well being, looking to improve flexibility, improve muscles recovery, or simply want to "get that knot out"

She believes that an effective treatment includes; massage therapy, client education, and patient home care.

 

Using modalities such as: General Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage, Kinesiology Taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation/ Neurosensory Modulation (IASTM/ IANSM), PNF Stretching, Manual Lymph Drainage, Joint Play and Remedial Exercise; we can work toward helping you live your to the fullest and pain free!
